What's the point?

The curtain call from last year’s performance at the Academy of Music.
I want to encourage you and equip you to take the necessary step to live the life of your dreams. That sounds lofty, and cringey, and cliche. But I mean it.
Self-employment has been life changing for me.
I'm about to leave the office early today to take my family downtown to see the Nutcracker and check out the Wanamaker Christmas light show. And I'm straight lavishing in the flexibility I have, and filled to the brim of gratitude for the financial stability my business is generating for my family. It’s taken time and a lot of work, and there’s much more growing to be done. I don't feel like I've "arrived" at where I want my business to ultimately be (I don't think I ever will), but I'm looking around and taking inventory of my current situation, and I’m deeply delighting in everything that God has blessed me with….
At the risk of making a corny overstatement - I feel like I'm living the life of my dreams. And I want this for you too (…and If I can do it, then the bar is at a very reasonable height).

A Christmas tradition.
Self-employment isn't for everyone. But I strongly encourage you to at least entertain the possibility and not prematurely dismiss it out of fear or confusion.
If it was easy - what would it look like? If all of the things that confuse you and freak you out about starting a business were taken care of, would you give it a shot? If you had someone walking alongside you, helping you think clearly, pointing you to the right tools, and troubleshooting the hiccups, and assuring you that you’re not crazy for trying this out - how much further would you go?
That’s the point. That’s why I send out this newsletter each week. That’s why the Self-Employment YouTube channel exists.
I want to help you take a timid idea or a tiny side hustle and grow it into something stable, sustainable, and satisfying. I want to help you move forward responsibly. To connect you with resources, tools, and community so you don’t have to white-knuckle this alone (or talk yourself out of even trying).
I genuinely want to help you build a life and business that gives you more freedom, more peace, and more room to enjoy the people God has placed in your care.
If that idea keeps tugging at you - even quietly - then I want you to click this link and schedule a free, friendly conversation where you can dream a bit, share your ideas out loud, ask some questions, and get clarity on the next step to take on your self-employment journey.
